Chairman (Howard Smith) Overall responsibility for all aspects of Choir Business, including arrangements for rehearsals and concerts, and control of finance in accordance with the 1994 Charities Act.
Secretary (Andrew Baillie) Acts as secretary to the Committee of the Choir.
Treasurer (Bob Jones) Management of the finances of the Choir, including income/expenditure, accounting, collection of subscriptions, payment of invoices and preparation of annual budget.
Musical Director (ex officio member) (John Andrews) Musical training of the choir, agreement with the Committee on selection of music for concerts and conducting at performances.
Box Office Manager (Katherine Lloyd-Davies) Provision of tickets for concerts (including content and layout), sale of tickets, distribution of complimentary tickets and collection of payments at the door.
Stage Manager (David Nye) Responsible for assuring suitability of venues prior to concerts, assembly of stage and seating, organisation of choir entry/egress and takedown of staging after concerts.
Concert Manager (Sally Creedy) Engagement of soloists, organist and orchestra for concerts, and all arrangements with them regarding rehearsals, timing, etc. Any associated hospitality arrangements, liaison with the Treasurer on professional fees, and obtaining resumes for the programme.
Librarian (Tony Weatherhead) Hire and distribution of musical scores, and return after concerts. Tracking issued scores and following up on missing copies.
Membership Secretary (Ingrid Rushman) Responsible for register of members, validation of member details, application forms, welcoming new members and arranging voice tests.
Friends of HCS and Mailing List (Janet Gilfrin) Contacts existing and potential Friends of HCS.
