John Andrews is now embarking on his fifth season as Musical Director of Harpenden Choral Society. Equally in demand as an operatic and choral conductor, John is Musical Director of the Three Rivers Chamber Orchestra and Hounslow Symphony Orchestra; he is the principal conductor of Vivace Choir and he works with a number of other orchestras and choirs. In 2006 John made his debut with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, in 2007 he worked with the Royal Opera House, and in Spring 2008 he was staff conductor and head of music for the English Touring Opera. In addition to a busy concert schedule, his programme for 2009 included operas for Garsington Opera, English Chamber Opera, Chelmsford Opera and Opera de Baugé.
